“A Key in a Pocket”, second edition with translations into English and Hebrew
A collection “A Key in a Pocket” is a summary of the literary residency in Buchach. The book includes essays by the participants of the 2016 residency, Ukrainian authors Sofia Andrukhovych, Andriy Lyubka, and Yevheniya Senik. All texts in the collection attempt to attract attention to Buchach, as a native town of a Nobel Prize laureate Shmuel Yosef Agnon, and generally to the topic of small towns and their literary heritage.
The book includes selected essays in the original Ukrainian language, and in English and Hebrew translations. The collection is part of the project of the literary residency in Buchach initiated and organized by the Agnon Literary Center and supported by the Ukrainian-Jewish Encounter. All rights reserved.
